We are not sure if God will continue to grow our family in number, however we continue to grow in love and our roots deepen and take hold. My prayer for my family is that we deepen our love for the lord as we travel this journey to discover God's purpose for each of our lives. We surrender ourselves and may we always be open to the plans He has for us.


For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:14-19

2010 Flag Football Awards Picnic



Last night the Homeschool Football League had their awards picnic for the Spring 2010 season. We went as a family and had a great time. Each family brought their own dinners, and after dinner the dads and sons played a flag football game. The weather was beautiful, and trophies were handed out during dinner by Coach Pendleton. I enjoyed some time watching them play, and also with the girls at the playground. I finally got to meet a friend I had made through Reece's Rainbow - what a treat! And we spoke with another family adopting from Ethiopia. Blessings all around. We are proud of the boys, and all the players and coaches on the teams, especially Coach Dom! Love you boys!

A note from Little Dom:  The flag football game was very fun and cool, I hope we can do it again next year!
